Heffron Farms Market
Easy Pot Roast Dinner Things you will need:
3-4 lbs. Beef Chuck Roast
1 Bag Stew Vegetables
Salt & Pepper
2 cans of French Onion Soup
Directions:
In Dutch oven add thawed Chuck roast, seasoned with salt and
pepper and enough water to cover the roast. Cook on the stove
top on medium heat for several hours (approx. 5-6).
Add 2 cans of French Onion Soup halfway through the cooking
time. Add stew vegetables at least an hour before roast is
fully cooked. The roast should fall apart tenderly when done.
This meal can also be prepared in a crock-pot. Add all ingredients
at once putting stew vegetables on top of the roast in the
crock-pot.
